The staff of SIL in Burkina Faso comes from seven different countries: Burkina Faso, Canada, France, Great Britain, Netherland, the United States of America and Switzerland.

Each person of the staff acts for the benefit of populations of Burkina Faso and in collaboration with the institutions of this country. They are all volunteers, motivated by a deep christian faith.

SIL International is a non-profit organization. The organisation and an important part of its staff is financially supported by volunteer contributions of individuals and organizations who are interested in the differents aspects of developing local languages.
